This week the Smitty's Lawn Care COT class saw only
four competitors. Al Smith Jr set a track record in qualifying
with a run of 76 five flat. This was Smith Jr's second TQ of
the year.
In the main Smith Jr would jump out to the lead but
would get slammed into the outside wall knocking him out of
the race. Chris Taylor would run away with the show and go
on to win the race. With the win Taylor clinches his second
straight Smitty's Lawn Care COT Championship. Smith Sr
would end up second with Brian Keith rounding out the top
three.
Only two weeks left of the season. Next week racing
starts at 6 pm.
